Inspired by the sunsets encountered every day on the Dadaepo promenade in Busan, this work exhibits a space where can keep memories that fade and disappear with the flow of time, like all living beings born with a fate of mortal.
It is a space where audiences can calmly face their own memories and a space where the past, present and future intermingled. It embraces the audience as a monument for memory and as a citadel of memory created to commemorate our private and trivial memories.

부산 다대포 산책길에서 매일 마주한 석양에서 영감을 얻은 이 작품은 필멸의 운명을 타고난 생명체와 같이, 시간의 흐름에 따라 희미해지고 사라지는 기억을 간직할 수 있는 공간, 자신의 기억과 고요히 마주할 수 있는 공간을 만들고자 하였다.
<기억 : 잊을 수 없는>전시회의 마지막 공간에 전시된 이 작품은 과거, 현재, 미래가 공존하는 공간으로, 전형적인 기념비의 형식을 빌려왔지만, 역사적 사건이나 위인을 위한 기념비가 아닌, 우리들의 사적이고 소소한 기억들을 기념하기 위하여 제작된 기억을 위한 기념비이자, 기억의 성채로써 관객을 맞이 한다.
